Loosely Woven is an ad-hoc community-based group of instrumentalists and singers who perform two to three cabaret type shows a year - just for the fun of it!
On Saturday 16th March Loosely Woven will be performing a special concert for the farmers from Culcairn and Henty who are visiting Sydney at the invitation of St Andrews Uniting Church, South Turramurra.
There will be 23 performers with an instrumental line-up that includes: harps, flutes, clarinets, saxophones, violins, viola, guitar, mandolin, piano, concertina, accordion, keyboard and percussion.
The program will open with Bruce Watson's song 'If you can walk, you can dance' and will include a couple of original songs as well as the usual eclectic Loosely Woven mix ranging from Dougie MacLean's beautiful 'Caledonia' to Judy Small's 'You don't speak for me' to the rock 'n roll classic hit 'Good Lovin', the moving gospel song 'Jacob's Ladder' and many more! concerts.
As usual, Loosely Woven will be performing acoustically - no PA system!
