Loosely Woven presents 'One Voice'

Loosely Woven is a community based group of people who put together and perform three brand new shows each year. 'One Voice' is the second of these for 2012.
The concert gets its name from the opening song made famous by the American trio 'The Wailin' Jennys' which extolls the virtue and power of many voices working together. The concert also includes Judy Small's powerful 'You don't speak for me', songs by Aboriginal groups 'Stiff Gins' and 'Tiddas' and many more - the usual eclectic Loosely Woven mix ranging from ABBA to 'The Impossible Dream' to 'The Beach Boys'!
There are 27 performers this time with an instrumental line-up that includes: harp, flutes, clarinets, saxophones, violins, guitars, mandolin, piano, accordions, keyboard and percussion.

All of the concerts are free though donations will be invited to various causes.
The Humph Hall performance on Friday 17th August will be recorded and videod and made into a DVD.
Formerly the Allambie Heights Uniting Church, Humph Hall is now the private residence of Gial Leslie and Wayne Richmond.
