Loosely Woven is an ad-hoc community-based group of instrumentalists and singers who perform two to three cabaret type shows a year - just for the fun of it!

On Sunday 3rd June Loosely Woven will be performing a fundraising concert for the Heart/Lung Transplants Association.

There will be 24 performers with an instrumental line-up that includes: harps, flutes, clarinets, saxophones, violins, viola, cello, guitar, mandolin, piano, concertina, accordion, keyboard and percussion.

The program opens with Kev Carmody's thrilling song 'Freedom' (which will knock your socks off, by the way, so don't be late!) and will include a couple of original songs as well as the usual eclectic Loosely Woven mix ranging from Ted Egan's powerful 'A Bunch of Damned Whores' to 'Summertime' to 'Big Spender' to the rock 'n roll classic hit 'At the Hop', the moving gospel song 'Jacob's Ladder' and many more! concerts.

As usual, Loosely Woven will be performing acoustically - no PA system!
