Shakin' the tree
3rd-10th December 2006

Posted Wednesday, November 1, 2006

Shakin' the tree, a Rachel Hore arrangement of the well known Peter Gabriel song, is the opening song of Loosely Woven's final concert for 2006. As usual, the 25 instrumentalists and singers will perform a wide variety of material including a brilliant song by Ladysmith Black Mambazo, more original songs by Ian Hamilton and Kevin Murray, a tune set, some interesting carols and, of course, more silliness!

Instruments will include harp, fiddles, viola, cello, recorders, concertinas, accordion, keyboard and percussion. See the Loosely Woven web site for details of the program.

All Loosely Woven concerts are performed acoustically - no PA!

There will be four public performances:

St Davids Uniting Church, DY
6pm, Sunday 3rd Dec 2006
(next to the police station)

St Andrews Uniting Church, South Turramurra
7pm, Friday 8th Dec 2006
