Fred Smith is one of Australia’s most remarkable artists. He has spent the last 10 years all over the globe: doing peace work in the war torn islands of the South Pacific, touring in America and travelling the Australian festival circuit where he has earned a reputation as a prolific and dynamic songwriter.

Fred Smith

He presents his material with an engaging humour and a wry smile that has won hearts at all the major Australian festivals.

"A walking, talking, singing, dancing Leunig cartoon."
Buz Magazine, Canberra Times, 1999

“….a superb songwriter with a wry sense of humour and a wonderful eye for the idiosyncrasies of modern life.”
Bruce Elder (SMH, 2007)

Choir on a Wire

A performance by Choir on a wire is an evening of part choir, part singalong covering some of Leonard Cohen's most beloved songs. Songbooks with lyrics are handed out so audience members can singalong!
