Wants to form traditional Irish band

By Cam Webby

Hi there, I'm 13 years old and looking to start a traditional and folk Irish music band. I live in South Western Sydney, Australia so I'm looking for members in the age range of 13-14, maybe 15 - in that sort of area. I'm a guitar, banjo and bodhran play and truly love the music. I want to create a serious but fun traditional and folk band.

I'm basically looking for:

  • A male guitar player and singer. Would be good if you could play tabs and chords proficiently.
  • A male or female fiddle or accordion player who won't need to sing.
  • A bass guitar player that can also sing a bit
  • Any other Celtic instruments who could join, please let me know as well.
I'm looking for people who are mature and have a true love for the music and will be happy to seriously practice. Please only respond if you can play your instrument well and live in the Sydney district of Australia.

Thank you
