Bird sings the blues!
11th-18th September 2005

Posted Tuesday, September 6, 2005

'Bird sings the blues' is the name of a new song by Harry Dingle who is up from Tasmania to perform a series of concerts with local folk group Loosely Woven. As well as three songs by Harry, there will also be some by Harry's son Tully and his daughter Tegan as well as other local songwriters Trevor Swadling and Kevin Murray. See the Loosely Woven web site for details of the program.

All together, over 20 instrumentalists and singers will be participating in the concert playing a wide range of instruments including fiddles, recorders, flute, accordion, trombone, harmonium, concertinas, keyboard and percussion.

All Loosely Woven concerts are performed acoustically - no PA!
