Fellowship of the Strings at The Music Cafe
6-9pm, Thurs 17th November 2005

By Jackie Luke
Posted Monday, November 7, 2005

The unique Central Coast group Fellowship of the Strings will be performing in the cosy surrounds of the Music Cafe of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Following capacity crowds at every concert at Coastfest, Maldon and Majors Creek Folk Festivals, the Fellowship are making a rare Inner-City appearance.

This is a chance to see the FOTS in a partly acoustic setting and to purchase their debut CD which features the fabulous vocals of Ingrid & Tahlia Racz, Celtic Harp from Jan Couchman & Greg Wilson, and Jackie Luke on Hammered Dulcimer.

  • 6-9pm (The music will start around 6.30)
  • Maquarie St - Look for the building that looks like a castle!
  • There is no parking at the Conservatorium. Possible parking at the Opera House car-park & street parking (try Hospital Road, next to the domain)
  • Closest train station is Circular Quay or Wynyard
  • Wine & Nibblies (Very close to restaurants at the Quay)
