Mark Laurent & Brenda Liddiard (Millennium Hippies) have been touring New Zealand, the United Kingdom and occasionally Australia for many years using poetry and humour to talk about "life, the universe, and everything", playing for music clubs, arts councils, festivals, cafes and to support organisations such as Greenpeace, Amnesty International, Habitat for Humanity, The Greens, TEAR Fund, World Vision and others. They've recorded 17 albums, written hundreds of songs, and their "unplugged" style includes blues, reggae, acoustic rock, ballads, new country etc., using guitars, mandolin, rowan lute, harmonicas and harmonies. Mark has also published 2 book of poetry and they have both written articles for a number of New Zealand magazines. They've performed numerous times on radio and television.
