  • Street performers, ooh! aah! circus , the Children's Festival.
  • The Spoken Word - yarns, storytelling and poetry - including The 10th World Poetry Debate.
  • Gloriously colorful dances to watch, dances to learn; frock up for the Colonial Ball and The Scottish Ball!
  • Toot, whistle, plunk, boom - that’s where the music comes from – visit our Instrument Makers’ Pavilion to admire and buy.
  • Art and craft workshops - create a take-home treasure or a leave-it-there mural.
  • Daily parades, gospel singing, films and historial displays, the National Library of Australia and ScreenSound Australia on site.
  • Shopping - for beanies, boots, brooches or banjos - they're all there in 110 stalls along with Food, glorious food - everything from Japanese sushi to German sausage, from Spanish paella to Ethiopian and Indian curries to Australian bush tucker - and drink , glorious drink as well in 3 bars and 2 wine bars
