Posted Friday, December 7, 2012

An afternoon of music & yarns from the 'Hudson River Balladeer' . . .

Rick Nestler

A Coast Guard licensed Master, with a 100 ton ticket, an actor, a singer and a songwriter, Rick can truly bring the songs of the sailor (both traditional and contemporary) to life. He’s appeared at folk festivals and coffeehouses throughout the Northeast of the US as well as low waterfront dives & institutions of higher learning from St. Thomas to Toronto, California to New York and everywhere in between.

One of his songs, ‘The river that flows both ways’ has been recorded by both Joe Heukerott and his friend Pete Seeger who calls Rick "the Terror of the River"!

Special guests: Bee Higgins & Mikey Floyd.

Suggested donation: ($25/$15).

Bookings are advised. Call or email Wayne (02) 9939 8802 to reserve your seat.
