You are invited to a free screening of 'The Life & Times of the Everly Brothers'.

The Everly Brothers

The Life & Times of the Everly Brothers chronicles the lives of the famous Everly Brothers. Among their hit songs are “Wake Up Little Susie,” “Cathy’s Clown,” “All I Have To Do Is Dream,” and “Ebony Eyes, “ among others.

‘Harmonies so simple and pure, tight and emotional the first time you heard them you had no idea how many people were singing.’ In this doco you will hear from peers, family and friends to discover the role they played in the birth of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Trivia Questions: (Answers to be revealed at film night!) 1. Why did the Everly Brothers turn Bob Dylan down when asked to record his tune Lay Lady Lay? 2. ‘Don’t want your love anymore’ are the first words to one of the Everly Brothers’ hits. Can you name the song? 3. Name three songs that made it to Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The film will be followed by a short sing-a-long led by Kate Maclurcan. Call or email Wayne (02) 9939 8802 for more information.
