Monthly folk singing session on the 2nd Friday of each month from 8pm following Politics in the Pub

The Sydney Gaelic Club, Level 1, 64 Devonshire Street, Surry Hills, has invited the Sydney folk community to run a singing session on the second Friday of each month from 8pm. We're calling it "Singing Out!". The first one will be on Friday 12th March and Margaret Walters, Miguel Heatwole and Amalina Wallace will take turns in facilitating the evenings. Contact Margaret Walters if you are interested in being on the mailing list.
The Gaelic Club opens 5pm. Politics in the Pub goes from 6 - 7.45pm but the session start might be closer to 8.30pm. Topics discussed at PitP are often ones folkies sing about so there’s bound to be some cross fertilisation. There are several low-cost restaurants nearby.
