Spooky Men's Winter of Discontent
Sun 1st June & Wed 4th June 2008

By Tony Eardley
Posted Thursday, May 1, 2008

The great Spook has urged us to present two concerts for your consideration: both will feature the Spooky Men's Chorale at their most fearsomely florid and bewhiskered, following a delicious minitour of NSW and QLD which has freshened up their appetite for more metaphorical pillagery.

There are new songs, including the widely loved "Affirmations of St Ken the Usual", and a couple of new facial expressions.

Also, you could well be immortalised on DVD if you go to these gigs, so practise your chortling, gurgling and snorting with great diligence.

3pm, Sunday 1st June 2008

Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre

Please remain calm, but you may, in all seriousness, need to book for these gigs as they have a habit of selling out . . .
