Join people from all over Australia and overseas our very first all day singing!

The venue is the Annandale Creative Arts Centre, 81 Johnston St, Annandale. The event is organised by the Surry Hills Shape Note Singers.

No music or singing experience is necessary - this music is for anyone who wants to sing! It is rousing, uplifting and acapella!

We will be singing from The Sacred Harp. Copies will be available for loan, or you can purchase your own book on the day.

Suggested donation is $20. Bring some food to share for our "lunch on the grounds". For more details, visit the Surry Hills Shape Note Singers on Facebook.

We will reassemble on the next day, Sunday 9 October 2012, for more singing at Apt 401, Hibernian House, 342 Elizabeth St, Surry Hills between 12-3pm.

For more information on sacred harp visit Sacred Harp Singing.

The Surry Hills Shape Note Singers meet on the second Sunday of every month, at Apartment 401, Hibernian House, 342 Elizabeth St, Surry Hills (near Central Station). The group welcomes everybody of all ages, ability levels, political and religious backgrounds..the common ground is that they sing together.
