The next Sydney Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Get-together will be held on Saturday 5th July in the:
Annandale Neighbourhood Centre
79 Johnston St, Annandale.
The night begins at 6.30pm with 'Safety In Numbers' where people at all levels of ability learn a few bluegrass songs together and perform them at the beginning of the concert at 7.45pm. The songs include instrumental backing and breaks, but you don't have to play an instrument to be part of the SINners group.
At 7.45pm an open mic bluegrass & old-time music concert gets underway with totally unplugged all-acoustic music and it continues till around 11.30pm. Jamming starts early and ends late.
The July Get-together will be dedicated to our friend, Geoff Kiem, who passed away in early June.
Entry cost is $6 for subscriber members of the Bluegrass & Traditional Country Music Society of Australia (BTCMSA) and concessions, $8 others. Kids under 18 are free. All are welcome!
