This month's concert is a special fund-raiser in aid of Animal from the Kings Cross Bikers - a group of bikers from all walks of life, who dedicate their free time to assisting Disabled Kids, Adults, Elderly, Schools, Hospitals and anyone who requires assistance. Animal has recently had a hip replacement and we are attempting to raise funds to contribute towards getting him back on his bike!
Loosely Woven - For the first time ever in the shire and all the way from Sydney's Northern Beaches, we are indeed privileged to have Loosely Woven, a group of 16 passionate singers and instrumentalists who love performing and singing an eclectic range of music. On this occasion their ranks will include the glorious voice of Sonia Bennett. Instruments will include fiddles, recorders, concertinas, guitar, keyboard and percussion. In addition to a selection of Denis Kevans/Sonia Bennett songs, the program will include a beautiful choral arrangement of Phil Ochs' 'When I'm Gone', original Henry Lawson songs, + the usual dose of Loosely Woven silliness.
Stilby - An up and coming singer/songwriter and guitarist with a very bright future.
Margaret Bradford - Our initimable Sutherland treasure will sing some of her best loved songs soon to be made in a CD.
Phil Graham - From 'the mountains', Phil will enterain us on his banjo and guitar.
(no floor spots this month)
