HuldreFolk have re-emerged, better than ever, on the folk scene after a period of self-inflicted obscurity. They are known for their unusual songs and poetry. They consist of:

Yuri the Storyteller

Yuri the Russian Storyteller
Yuri captivates the audience, by the light of an ageless candlelight glow, and succeeds in drawing them into the magic of the classic folktale. Typical of the village storyteller, Yuri has performed at all the major folk festivals, plus World Expo and on National TV and radio. Poetry that has to be experienced.

Paul Hemphill

Paul Hemphill
Paul is a multi-award winning song writer who has performed solo throughout Australasia and the UK. With Huldre Folk he combines music, poetry, humour, horror, pain and pandemonium even getting us involved with the Romans, Vikings, Mongols even the Spanish Inquisition.

Miss these two at your peril - they might disappear forever!!

Session Nights
Don't forget the Session Nights take place on the 4th Thursday of every month (except January). All are welcome to come and join us for a friendly jam, singalong, or to say a poem!
