After a number of years watching and being part of the successful Blacktown daytime session, Wisefolk, some members of Sutherland acoustic, namely Jenny Watson and Brian Dunnett and Shire folkies decided that we should have a similar session on the south side of Sydney.

We meet on the first Wednesday of the month at the Cronulla RSL club which has kindly given us the use of a lovely room overlooking the sea.

At our second meeting we had a good crowd which included an amazing 95 year old woman, Iris who was so alert and musical. Iris could whistle any tune with ease...a good set of lungs! Hope she’ll be a regular and hope the event continues to attract all those retired and shift work musicians in the shire. There must be hundreds of you out there keen to share your songs, stories, poems, musical talents in an intimate, friendly setting?

All welcome!
