Blue Goose….a fine mixture of folk/jug band/bluegrass/rock/blues/jazz consists of three musicians, the celebrated Sonia Bennett with her powerful vocals and jazzy guitar , the multi-instrumentalists Max Gregory and Bruce Stavert plus Ralph Mitchell on bass.
All bring together a broad range of musical experience and skill and a love of music in many guises…some original compositions, interspersed with refreshing interpretations of songs of many genres old and new, combine with a whimsical approach to playing that makes them fun and great to listen to. All are long-time performers in various bands and musical groups, they’re also currently playing in other bands. Their easy manner and dry humour make for great entertainment.
