Sunday night will see the second concert of The Acoustic Playground's Winter series featuring one of Byron Bay's finest musicians, Nathan Kaye.

Nathan will be supported by two of the Northern Beaches' most promising acts, acoustic magician Tully and gorgeous duo Elby.

Nathan's performance is unique, funny and inspiring, featuring slide didge, slide guitar, stomp box, beat box and amazing vocals. He heads off this year to the Glastonbury Folk Festival in England, so catch him in Australia before he leaves.

Tully is a local performer and writer of music spanning many genres, but is never happier than with an acoustic guitar in hand. Songs of peace, love, sadness and mystery sung with no goal other than to inspire and enjoy.

He has played at various open mic events and at the Manly Boatshed, as well as for local outfit Loosely Woven. He has written short musicals, and plays a wide variety of instruments. He has recently written and performed music for the New Theatre's production of 'Medea'. Definitely a talent worth watching.

Elby is a duo comprising Laura on vocals and Brendan on guitar and vocals. Originally from Port Macquarie they have settled in Newport on the Northern Beaches, and perform a great acoustic set of original songs.

Originally from Port Macquarie they have been living on the Northern Beaches for over 2 years. They have performed at Mona Vale hotel for the open mic nights & Sunset Sessions. Recently they travelled back home to perform as a support act for local band Ghost Road for their album launch. Their original acoustic sound have people paying attention. Simple yet intriguing melodies with clever guitar arrangements and evocative harmonies.Concert Two will take off on Sunday 12th June at 6pm and finish at 8pm. The location is the Star of The Sea Theatre, at the corner of Collingwood St and Iluka Ave, Manly. Come and experience the plush comfort and state-of-the-art acoustics of this multi-million dollar theatre, and the exhilarating musicianship of the performers on the night.
