3pm, Sunday 4th December 2016

Posted Monday, November 7, 2016

In London 1963 two sisters, a brother and a good family mate electrified the English folk scene when they appeared at The Troubadour Folk Club in Earls Court.

Four young people singing songs a capella from their home county of Yorkshire. The audience was gobsmacked and saw them go on to be a driving force in the Second Folk Revival between the 1960s & 80s. Their songs were first heard in Australia in Sydney in 1965 & within months groups emulating their style sprang up around the country.
