My life as a piano poster

Jan Preston (piano/vocals)
Chris Mawer (bass)
Mike Pullman (drums)

A 90 minute show of unforgettable autobiographic stories; sometimes uproarious, sometimes poignant, all interwoven with never-before seen images, original songs and music.

The show, which is being toured across Australia, features a wonderfully potted history of the piano, letting audiences in on some of the more unusual and quirky facts you probably won’t have heard before.

“I hope that the Rolling Stones’ Honky Tonk Woman boogie-fied makes you smile, and that you relish the outrageous interpretation of Beethoven’s Fur Elise, and delight in the rather thunderous rendition of my show stopper, Jack Fina’s amazing Bumble Boogie.”

"One of the best pianists of our time, Preston masters the piano like a maestro juggling the keys. Her voice is suave and sensual, with finesse and sensibility." (Crossroads France)

"From boogie woogie to ragtime the air pulsates with the magical rhythms she produces….a forceful presence and a huge performance energy."
