Jonathan Lynn

Words with teeth in em!

Thea Award winning Irish actor, playwright & designer, Jonathan Lynn is also a storyteller & performer at festivals & venues around the world.

But he is not a traditional storyteller - don’t expect magic & myth! Rather he dramatically performs theatrical excerpts, recitation, comedy, nostalgia, traditional & original monologues aimed at adult audiences.

Do expect to laugh!

Here is what one critic had to say about his one-man show:

Jonathan Lynn is a Kilkenny man who emigrated to Canada where he is an director/author with the Toronto Irish Players theatre, among other things. One of those other things is his acting ability. A master of the monologue, wonderful mimic and a musician to boot he entertained a rapt and appreciative audience on a recent visit home. Jonathan Lynn is as good as they come and his one-man show was entertainment with a capital E!
Check out these YouTube clips from his 2011 performance in Humph Hall.
