Bernard Carney

Port Fairy Folk Festival ‘Artist of the Year’ award winner Bernard Carney has received accolades from all over the world:

“Bernard Carney is a great all-round musician in the tradition of the folk troubadour. He has a unique talent as songwriter, guitarist and singer all peppered with passion and humour”

“You knew you were in the presence of genius when you realised, after splitting your sides in laughter, that suddenly you’d been transported to sublime and rapt attention as a love song, or a lullaby, were crooned out softly by a word wizard accompanied on sensitive and exquisite guitar”.

“An Englishman living in Australia, Bernard Carney is a very clever and wordy song smith with a talent for the guitar as well”Suggested donation: ($25/$15).
