Sydney singer/songwriter Wayne Gillespie and New Zealand guitar virtuoso Nigel Gavin celebrate the release of their latest album "LIve at the Bunker" with a one off Sydney gig at the Harp Hotel. Gavin will also do a solo set playing tunes off his latest solo album "Visitation".
This is true folk quality music, not a sniff of synthesis, expertly played, and with obvious audience rapport. A fine listen. [New Zealand Musician 2006]
(Gavin) A minstrel for the new millennium – there is something at once medieval and contemporary in the seven-string acoustic he wields. [Australian Guitarist 2005]
Gillespie delivered an entertaining ...and completely original show...his voice is stunning in it's quality....a songlist that impressed with it's overall standard [Nelson Evening Mail.]
