Sult @ the Gaelic Club
Gaelic Club
64 Devonshire Street, Sydney
Following on from our very successful first season of Sult we start again on Wednesday 8th August with a very special night of Irish music featuring Fiona McVicar and Craig Kelly.
Fiona (Fiddle) and Craig (Guitar) form a modern Irish music duo. Drawing on tunes both traditional and modern, Fiona and Craig combine their experience from diverse musical backgrounds to bring their own unique understanding to the music of Ireland as well as other countries.
Where? When?
Sult takes place every 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month except July and January upstairs at the Gaelic Club, 64 Devonshire St. Surry Hills (just a stones throw from Central Station). Exit through the pedestrian tunnel from George St. into Chalmers St. and cross into Devonshire. It’s on the left. Take the lift or the stairs to the first floor.
Live music & entertainment of different types will feature at Sult with the night being anchored by a regular traditional music group (the house band). The focus of the night is to provide space and opportunities for groups and individuals to perform within an “open mic” format and an opportunity for those who come along to experience some really great music and entertainment. The night will conclude with an informal session from around 9.30pm.
How much does it cost? Admission is FREE.
