Martin Pearson + Barbara Sanders @ The Loaded Dog
8pm Saturday 23rd August, 8pm, doors open 7.40. Back hall, Annandale Neighbourhood Centre, 79 Johnston St, Annandale

Martin returns for his annual visit to the Dog supported by Barbara who is doing her first ever solo gig!

Martin is the world's funniest male, long-haired, Victorian, piscean folk singer. Formerly of the act "Martin Pearson", Martin has rose to fame like a dead pigeon in a water tank. Martin plays the fool in B sharp.

Martin is a very funny satirical performer. He has been amusing, even thrilling audiences around the globe for ages now, and if you haven't seen him live - you're missing out.

Martin tickles the funny bone. The act is full of scintillating , he has an ability to take current events and observations of everyday life, and turn them into side splitting comedy routines.

Barbara has sung all her life, singing silly songs her father taught her, bastardising the school anthem and then getting serious by toying idly with the classical repertoire. In the late 90s and early naughties she focussed on cappella singing in groups such as Vox Humana and Echolalia until a busy life intervened. In the last few years she has trod the boards of musical theatre but recently found herself back at the folk hearth trying desperately to remember the words. Sing along, she may need the help!
