Hard times ... Or an easy ramble round the stations with the best tucker and the kindest cooks ...

Australia's on the wallaby
Just listen to the coo-ee
For the kangaroo he rolls his swag
And the emu shoulders bluey
The boomerangs are whizzing round
The dingo scratches gravel
The possum bear and bandicoot
Are all upon the travel

Back in the bad old days, we would have said: "Ladies bring a plate - Gents bring a bottle" ... but we know better these days. Just for starters - we want something edible on the plate ... and a decent drop in the bottle!
