You will require a City Rail Ticket to travel on the special designated Music Train Carriages that will cover you from your joining Railway station to Bulli Station. You also must have proof of entry into the Illawarra Folk Festival.

Carriages on 3 trains leaving Central for Bulli are being reserved for Illawarra Folk Festival attendees with pre-purchased tickets. If you're planning on buying your ticket at the Festival gate, you'll miss the great entertainment!
 

CARRIAGE 1 – Celtic Music Session - Central to Waterfall, bring your fiddles, whistles and other musical instruments for all of the fun. Rant a young group from the Victorian Irish Community join the train at Waterfall and will perform to Bulli and at the festival.

CARRIAGE 2 – Singing carriage - Central Station to Hurstville, Anthony Robins, song writer, folk music performer leads the singing. At Hurstville Station the train is joined by Folk Singers John Warner and Margaret Walters, poets, and other performers of the written word including Yuri the Storyteller.
 

Bulli station has a lift, & the Showground is about 5 minutes walk up the road from the station. If you don't want to walk, wait for the Festival Kombi Van.

SATURDAY 16th JANUARY 2nd Train - 3 carriages

CARRIAGE 1 – Bluegrass Carriage - A Bluegrass Music Session begins at Central Railway, then The Backburners join the train at Waterfall and play though the National Park to Bulli Railway Station

CARRIAGE 2 - Inner City Music Carriage - Sydney Jazz Singer Sonia Bennett supported by Folk Singers John Hospodaryk & Darren Whitaker from Central to Waterfall, then they are joined by Okapi Guitars who will perform from Waterfall to Bulli

CARRIAGE 3 - Sutherland Musicians - Margaret Bradford, The Older Women Network, and members of The Shire Choir
 

Bulli station has a lift, & the Showground is about 5 minutes walk up the road from the station. If you don't want to walk, wait for the Festival Kombi Van.

SUNDAY 17th JANUARY (Train 3) - 3 carriages

CARRIAGE 1 - Kids Carriage - Lots of surprises at Central Railway Station followed by Gobsmacked and King and Queen of Green who join the train at Waterfall

CARRIAGE 2 - Singing Carriage “Come All Yea” singing session for all to join in. Lead by day tripping singers travelling to the Festival to join other members of their choirs and singing groups. Bring some copies of your favourite song for people to learn and sing on the trip.

CARRIAGE 3 - Learn to Play Tin Whistle Carriage - Mitch Smith and friends & Sue Wighton, Queensland Folk/Jazz Singer/songwriter
