Labour Day Long Weekend
Old Goulburn Brewery
Bungonia Rd, Goulburn
The Brewery is a very substantial industrial complex constructed in the 1830s & 1840s, and is worth a look on its own. And yes it is still a Brewery.
ACCOMMODATION : There is plenty of accommodation in Goulburn but it is a long weekend and it is Lilac Festival time, with parades and other things happening in the main street, so book early. The Gathering has been blissfully unaffected by these activities in the past but it may affect your choice of accommodation. For some options have a look at Bush Traditions’ website.
Onsite camping is available again. On current numbers there appears to be plenty of space for everyone but spaces are limited so you might want to contact Ray on 6247 4725 to reserve a spot if you have not done so already. It also helps us anticipate numbers.
Accommodation in the Mews has already been booked.
FOOD: The Brewery provides meals or you can buy in town and make your own.
TRAINS: You can get there by train from Melbourne or Sydney. The station is about 1 km from the Brewery, a pleasant walk on a good day. If you let us know we can pick you up.
