It seems to us that during these times it is even more important to uphold and support the meaningful and beautiful things in life. These thoughts are the inspiration that gives rise to the festival. Our spirits are in danger of becoming isolated and impoverished and festivals provide food for the soul and speak of our humanity.

Our theme for this year is 'the Creation', the divine mystery that we seek to understand and express with our art and performance. Music and dance allow us to journey into the deeper realms of the psyche as the shaman does and dance has been a function of man's life, even from the primitive to the most cultured community. Perhaps before man began to speak and to paint, he began to dance ...
