The Troubadour Central Coast and Peninsula Music have just registered in the Peninsula Relay For Life which will be held on Saturday 18th March 2006. We plan to entertain with our music and join in the walk (maybe even play music as we walk) to raise money to fight cancer. So, if you can please join us.
Relay For Life is a fundraising event for The Cancer Council and it sounds like a great chance to team up to help fight cancer, and honour all those people who have been touched by cancer. Funds raised will be spent on cancer research, education, support services and advocacy. Teams of 10-15 people take turns to walk or run around the oval. It's an outdoor event and it goes overnight. Sounds like fun - there'll be entertaiment and activities for all ages.
