Our Open Mic is on the last Sunday of each month. We really want to make them a success and need your support to do so. Both performers and audience are important. Its a great chance to share folk with other performers and show them how great it is!

The Troubadour Central Coast wants to provide performing artists with an opportunity to perform in front of live audiences and to provide the audience with a taste of things they might not be used to enjoying. We feel it is important to provide a local venue for all types of performing artists to grow so music can be accessed by everyone. We want to bring together all ages and styles of acoustic music and ideas so we can come together and learn about each other.

The open mic afternoons at Woy Woy Bowling Club will provide new and experienced artists including musicians, poets, comedians and storytellers with an opportunity to perform in front of a live audience. It may be your first time in front of an audience - or maybe you're a seasoned veteran trying out some new material. This is a great chance to get experience with your performance as well as a way to share your talents. We want to have a friendly nurturing environment to encourage everyone and positive feedback will be welcomed. It also will be a great place to be “seen” if you want to go on to bigger and better events. We will have a couple of mics and a place to plug in basic instruments if you need it. Performers will have up to 15 minutes until everyone has had a turn. Sign up early to make sure you get a spot. If there is time left over, we might go round again or have an open session depending on the mood! If you just want to watch, you are more than welcome as well so please come along and tell all your friends too!

Food and drinks will be available from the Club so why not come early for lunch and relax all afternoon. This event is held in a smoke free environment. The club is right on the water and has beautiful views out the windows so it makes a great afternoon out and if you want to take a break it has lovely parks adjoining right on the water.

Our open mic afternoons are still in a formative stage and we need your support and ideas so please let us know what you think. Please come and encourage our artists and help this event become a regular part of the performing arts on the Central Coast.

For more information or so we can save you a spot, please contact

Carl and Leila on (02) 4344 1810 or by email.

If you aren't that organised, you can also register to perform on the afternoon time permitting .
