The Songs of Henry Lawson to be reprinted
Have you set poetry by Lawson to music?

By Wayne Richmond
Posted Thursday, July 12, 2007

In 1989, Chris Kempster published The Songs of Henry Lawson, a comprehensive anthology of tune settings for Lawson poetry. Beautifully produced with words, music, photos and information about the poems themselves, the book has been out of print for some years but is still much in demand.

The songbook is to be reprinted with additional material and we are seeking potential contributors. If you have a setting you would like to see considered for inclusion, visit the Lawson Project section of the Chris Kempster web site or contact Mark Gregory on (02) 4782 3672 or:

PO Box 298
Katoomba NSW 2780

We also wish to make contact with the original contributors.
