Duck For Cover
For Solo Musicians, Duo’s and Trio’s
www.duckforcover.com.au
Duck For Cover Entertainers' Group Inc. is an incorporated, non-profit association of performers which makes available cost-effective public liability insurance cover for its members.

You can receive $20,000,000 Public Liability Insurance with an authorised Australian Insurer until 12th August for less than $245.00 per musician.

Members will also be offered renewal next year, hopefully at similar competitive premiums.

New applicants: Please be aware that the Duck for Cover policy runs from the 12th of August to the 12th of August each year. If you join now, you
will be required to renew your membership in August for the new policy year which commences 12th August 2006. There is no pro-rata rate for
joining this late in the policy year.

Current members: All current members have been sent the renewal information by post. The new policy material and application is not yet
available on the web.

You should note that Duck For Cover is only intended to cover individual performers with a performance income of less than $100,000. This includes solo performers, session musicians, duos and trios, plus any other group that trades as a partnership. Each member of the group needs to become a Duck for Cover member, paying $245 each. This then gives each individual Public Liability Insurance cover whether they are playing with the group
or outside of the group.
