Got any info about

Australian Ukulele players?
(past or present)

I am currently collecting stories and contacts about ukulele playing in Australia for 'Ukulele Land', a book I am writing to document the beginnings of the little Hawaiian instrument in this country up until the present day players.

And yes, you'd be surprised how many there are!

If you have any trickles of information about anything at all to do with ukuleles in Australia, I am desperate to know. I am also organising the Third Annual Ukulele Land concert in Sydney for March 2006.

I have a blog where you can leave info and look at bits I've collected so far or you can email or call me on (0414) 346 436 (and I'll call you back).
