Second album from Canadian Ann Vriend is a fairly pleasant but unremarkable experience. Singing original material she accompanies herself on piano and is backed by drums, bass and guitar. The style is often reminiscent of the soft jazz of Norah Jones, the album rolling comfortably along with ballads about life and love, interspersed with the occasional more up-tempo number.
